Refund & Returns Policy
FASTNAS Pty Ltd (trading as FASTNAS Tools) wants you to be satisfied with every order. This policy explains how returns, refunds and warranty claims work, and applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
30-day returns
You may return unused stock within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the goods are in their original, unopened packaging and in resalable condition.
- Change of mind: accepted within 30 days. Return postage is at the customer's cost.
- Faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described: we pay return postage and you choose a replacement or a full refund.
- Partial returns are fine — you don't have to send back a whole carton if you only need to return some packs, as long as the returned packs are unopened.
- No restocking fees apply.
How to start a return
Email fastnasau@gmail.com with:
- your order number,
- the item(s) and quantity you wish to return, and
- the reason for the return (for faulty goods, please attach a photo).
We reply within 1 business day with a return authorisation and the return address. Please do not send items back before receiving return instructions — unauthorised returns may be delayed or refused.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned goods (and no later than 10 business days). We refund the price paid for the returned goods; original shipping is refunded where the return is due to a fault, an incorrect supply, or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed. Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds may take a further 2 to 5 business days to appear.
Cancellations & order changes
If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us and we will cancel or amend it and refund you in full. Once an order has shipped, please follow the returns process above.
Lost, damaged or missing deliveries
If your order arrives damaged, is short-shipped, or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, contact us with your order number within 30 days of the dispatch date. We will investigate with the carrier and replace or refund the affected goods. Please keep damaged packaging where possible, as carriers may ask for photos.
Warranty
Tools and hardware are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, running from the date of delivery. Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced or refunded in line with the Australian Consumer Law. Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, incorrect installation, use with an incompatible tool, or use outside the product's stated specifications.
Non-returnable items
For safety and regulatory reasons, the following cannot be returned once supplied, except where faulty:
- Powder-actuated tool loads (charges) and other dangerous goods.
- Opened or part-used consumables where the packaging seal is broken.
- Custom, cut-to-length or special-order items.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
International orders
International returns are accepted on the same 30-day terms. For change-of-mind returns the customer pays return freight and is responsible for any import duties or taxes already incurred, which are not refundable by us. Please contact us before returning goods from outside Australia so we can confirm the correct return address and paperwork.
Purchases made on eBay or other marketplaces
If you bought through our eBay store or another marketplace, please start your return through that platform so it can be tracked against your order there. The same 30-day terms and 2-year warranty apply.
